JIM Enterprises Staff Group Shot in park

The team at JIM Enterprises Inc. hasn’t let our summer slip away. In fact, this summer our diverse educational, professional and cultural backgrounds were put to test as we put our heads together to revamp, revise and completely refresh our Jump Into English for Parents curriculum. We took key components of our original curriculum to form the foundation. From there, we looked at our ultimate goal of what direction we want to take the program. We will never lose sight of the English Language Development component, however, we want our focus to transition to engagement within the school and local communities.

As the school year takes off, our executive team reflects on our mission: to partner with local education agencies to provide high quality, expanded learning opportunities to support students, educators and parents. Our ultimate goal is to not only be a partner that districts can trust, but to be a partner that educators and parents can believe in. Our end goal will always be the growth of our students whether at the elementary level or serving their parents in the same community. Over the next few months we will introduce each team member, starting with our owner, founder and CEO, DeeAnn Antonini. Find out what we are passionate about and what drives us to provide next level service to our partner districts. Explore what fills our cups so we can fill the cups of those in our communities. From our office along the Central Coast in Salinas, California to our office in the central valley of Lodi, California we are making waves!

We absolutely loved the opportunity to revamp our parent curriculum. Here’s our top 10 changes our design team is loving:

The curriculum is more:

  • Engaging! We are determined to help parents engage within their school and local communities.
  • Adaptable! Lessons are relevant for every school site and adaptable to current needs.
  • Involvement! Our new parent program curriculum uses activities to promote involvement. Involvement is essential when learning a new language.
  • Family Bonding! Our program includes activities that foster a strong parent-child relationship, creating lasting bonding experiences at home.
  • Confidence Building! Our curriculum helps parents gain confidence in handling day-to-day activities, making them more effective and self-assured in their roles.
  • Community Connection! Lessons encourage parents to connect with other families and the broader community, building a support network and fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Educational Support! We provide parents with the tools and knowledge to actively support their children’s educational advancement, ensuring academic success.
  • Lifelong Learning! Our program instills a love for learning, encouraging parents to continue their educational journey alongside their children.
  • Emotional Well-being! Activities are designed to support the emotional well-being of both parents and children, promoting a positive and nurturing home environment.
  • Empowerment! The curriculum empowers parents to be proactive advocates for their children’s education and well-being, both at school and in the community.
